About the conference

Organised by ERGaR, European Biomethane Trading Conference (EBTC) brings together the people and organisations shaping Europe’s biomethane market.

The conference now returns for its second edition on 15 April 2027 at the Mövenpick Hotel Amsterdam City Centre. It connects producers, traders, off-takers, registries, certification bodies, grid operators and policymakers to exchange insights, discuss the latest market developments and regulatory updates affecting the sector, and to build lasting business relationships.

This year's programme covers the issues central to the industry’s growth, from EU policy and cross-border trade to certification, pricing and emerging market opportunities. New for 2027, focus-group meeting opportunities, parallel sessions, and dedicated discussions for off-takers give participants more ways to tailor their day.

Beyond the sessions, we will host reception drinks on 14 April and a conference dinner on 15 April offer plenty of time to network with peers from across the value chain.
